Occupational Safety Card search opens on 15 January 2025

From 15 January 2025, printed Occupational Safety Cards will no longer be delivered to those who complete the Occupational Safety Card training.

Instead of printed cards, the Centre for Occupational Safety will open an electronic Occupational Safety Card search, where anyone, such as the cardholder, employer or client, can check the information on a valid Occupational Safety Card.

The Occupational Safety Card search can be used to find a person’s Occupational Safety Card information by using the cardholder’s name and date of birth. Viewing the information requires strong identification. In addition, the cardholder’s name and date of birth must be known. Every person whose information is in the Occupational Safety Card search register has the right to object, i.e. the right to object to the processing and availability of their information.

Printed Occupational Safety Cards are valid until their expiration date. From around mid-January 2025, printed cards will no longer be automatically delivered to those who have completed the Occupational Safety Card training. However, until 2026, the Centre for Occupational Safety offers those who have completed the Occupational Safety Card training the opportunity to order a printed Occupational Safety Card at their own expense through the mobiili.korttitieto.fi service, if necessary.

The Occupational Safety Card search will be opened at tyoturvallisuuskortti.fi on 15 January 2025.
