1. Processing of personal data

The Centre for Occupational Safety’s website (ttk.fi) asks for the user’s personal data when the user

The feedback form asks for the person’s name and email address. The information is only used to reply to the person making the query. 

For publication orders, the collected data is only processed for the purposes of delivering and invoicing the publications.

When subscribing to the newsletter, the subscriber is asked for their email address, which is only used to deliver the newsletter in question.

When leaving a contact request via the chat, the person is asked for their name, phone number and a short description of their request for assistance. The information is only used to reply to the person making the query. 

The data entered into the Occupational Safety Personnel Register is only used to convey information related to occupational safety and to the organization of occupational safety training. The Centre for Occupational Safety uses the information in the register to market its training courses and to pass on its occupational safety materials. Contact information may also be disclosed to organizations, associations and other parties organizing occupational safety training in order to convey materials and occupational safety training information.

2. Website terms of use

The website’s (ttk.fi) text content and downloadable materials may be quoted and linked to, provided that the source is mentioned. The use of images and graphic elements without permission is prohibited, unless otherwise stated in the materials. Using the content for commercial purposes is prohibited.

3. Use of data in the Occupational Safety Personnel Register

The data entered into the Occupational Safety Personnel Register(you will be directed to another service) is only used to convey information related to occupational safety and to the organization of occupational safety training. The Centre for Occupational Safety uses the information in the register to market its training courses and to pass on its occupational safety materials. Contact information may also be disclosed to organizations, associations and other parties organizing occupational safety training in order to convey materials and occupational safety training information.

What data does the Centre for Occupational Safety collect?

The Occupational Safety Personnel Register is a register administered by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and maintained by the Centre for Occupational Safety, which contains data on cooperation workplaces and the details of their occupational health and safety cooperation personnel. The data is stored in the register on the basis of notifications from employers. The obligation to report and the processing of data is based on legislation, on the Act on the Register of Occupational Safety Personnel (1039/2001).

 or by calling the Data Protection Officer of the Centre for Occupational Safety at 040 846 6558. You should be prepared to prove your identity in a reliable manner when asking for the data. When asking for the data, you should specify the name of the register in question. We aim to respond to your request within a month.
